BIG Ventures Inc is seeking an Order Packer to join our team. As an Order Packer, you will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment and ensuring that goods are packed appropriately. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring that orders are accurate and delivered on time.
In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and labeling all products in proper order before packaging them. Additionally, you will work in collaboration with the shipping team to ensure that parcels are delivered to the right destination and on time. Therefore, attention to detail and being able to work under pressure are highly desirable skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials and packing items securely
- Organize products in proper order before packaging and label them appropriately
- Inspect all outgoing orders for accuracy and completeness before dispatch
- Perform regular inventory checks on all orders to ensure accurate records and compliance
- Update shipment records through the company's order management system
- Maintain shipping supplies inventory and place orders when needed
- Work collaboratively with the shipping team to ensure prompt delivery of orders

Requirements
- Prior experience in packing and shipping
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using an order management system
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to routinely lift and move heavy boxes up to 50 pounds.
