The Records Analyst, under the general supervision of the Deputy Registrar and Director, Records and Registration, with additional direction from other Registrar's Office leadership, is responsible for a variety of functions that demand collaboration and cooperation with various units as well as Student Affairs Information Technology (SAIT). In addition, the incumbent acts as a Registrar's Office Records and Registration specialist, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the academic record. Major duties include (1) Serving as the primary point of contact for systems access, training, privacy consultation, and records management, (2) providing administrative/counseling support for the Residency unit, and (3) participation in a wide range of administrative/counseling and support functions in the Registrar's Office & Records and Registration unit. Duties are to be performed with the highest level of care, quality, and attention to provide a comprehensive service experience for all constituents.

Knowledge of policies, procedures, and legislation pertaining to the custody, confidentiality, and release of student records, including, but not limited to, office, University, state, and federal regulations, especially the federal Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 and its subsequent amendments.

Knowledge of the Registrar's Office and related student records computer systems, including OASIS and the Universal ID (UID) Systems.
