DLS is currently seeking a full-time Program Manager to provide operational and staff oversight of a language instruction program. The ideal candidate will have both a background in language instruction and significant experience managing government contracts. This individual will be based on-site in Monterey, CA.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the principal point of contact with the COR/COTRs for all contractual and administration issues;
- Oversee the selection, assignment, and management of highly qualified personnel for the production of all deliverables (primarily preparation of instructional materials and delivery of instruction);
- Oversee instruction, guide the development and execution of curricula, and ensure integration of technology into the curricula;
- Facilitate classroom observations for government personnel and organize student feedback sessions at class mid-points and during the final week;
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a program manager or a related job in the field of college-level foreign language teaching and second language acquisition;
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution, preferably in second language acquisition, foreign language instruction, or similar field;
- Experience in managing resources and personnel, prioritizing work/assignments, and quality control;
- The Program Manager must be able to pass a background check and maintain security requirements as needed.
